Post Polishing exhaust tips

With apologies to AJ, I want to polish the exhaust tips on my recently purchased 993 C4. Any suggested metal cleaners or will a standard stainless steel cleaner do the job?

Thanks.

I just used a standard buffing wheel and compound. Also used a Dremel tool for the tight spots. Do an archive search - there are 2 or 3 threads that discuss this in the last 6 months.

Here’s one of the threads Tom refers to. I posted before and after pictures. I also included information about what I did.

I've used Simichrome polish for 15 years with great results. I've heard that Flitz (sp?) is good also.

I just did mine a while ago on a buffing wheel with red rouge. Available everywhere. They look indistinguishable from chrome. Pictures don't do them justice.

In the UK you have 2 choices

Autoglym has one.
The other is Autosol which is the one I use.
As you can see using a machine makes a huge difference.

I used Mother's Metal Polish and a Dremel tool. My results did not look as good as Brad's so I'd try the red polishing rouge.
