Default Tail light source/morimoto?

Trying to replace the right tail light that fell out and melted. Not having good luck with eBay, and OEM is like $500-600. Is there a better source I’m missing?

also considering just going morimotos led kit. Anyone know if it breaks cruise control? Tore’s led kits come with that warning but I couldn’t find anything about morimoto.

I have a set of early production run morimotos for sale if you're interested. Smoked versions. Pretty much new in box, were installed and uninstalled.

The cruise control still works with the Morimoto tail lights.

Tore's LED taillights work and look great in my car with cruise control. Purchase and install his LED Smart Ballast to alleviate CC issues.

We have Morimoto in stock and the sale of 15% off ends tomorrow if you want to take advantage. No issues with cruise control.

Carnewal is always competitively priced, and if you like the euros sans side markers they are on sale for about $600. ROW taillights red

You can buy the US version for about $650 for the pair. US taillights red

The euro amber taillights are also a great option, and also just $650 for the pair. ROW taillights amber

I toasted one of my taillights about five years ago. I now add some loctite when screwing in that Philips head screw.

Hello all. Reviving this thread. I went on 400 mi drive and lost left taillight. It must be in pieces somewhere on a desert highway. Frankly all 3 rear pieces on my car are cracked and old. Therefore, I was tempted about the morimotos as it replaces everything that is a problem. The thing bugging me about the morimoto is the bump-out for the LED bar. I like the smooth line of the OEM. I checked the links above and seems that morimoto might be the only way to move forward with a complete solution. I am wondering if anyone has any updates on the quality of the kit or any suggestions on which way to go.... Next time Im loctiting everything.

just buy new oem, it genuinely looks the best. you can even just buy one and polish the other 2 but they will always look a tiny bit different due to aging at different rates
