Post I hit a curb, HELP!

I scuffed a curb with the front of my C4S this AM, removed the rubber lip spoiler and scratched up the bottom of the bumper cover pretty nicely. Does anyone know if the lower portion of the bumper cover comes off seperately or does the entire cover have to be removed to repaint? I haven't found the bumper variant for the C4S in the factory workshop manuals for some reason(?), maybe they're all the same. Thanks!!

Sorry to hear about this.

The widebody front bumper cover is a one piece design, so the whole bumper cover will have come off.

Check out the bumper revomal DIY in my web site to see what is involved.

A while back I too hit a curb..... Is your this bad?

Robin, I drove into a curb last week and of course where I hit there was a steel edged storm drain - so I messed up my two wheels pretty badly. My question is this: were you able to fix that wheel or did you need replace it?

Thanx,

EJ,

I still have that busted wheel in my garage, using it as part of a table stand now...

There is no way they could fix a wheel badly damaged like mine.

But amazingly that wheel held air and got me home.

Robin,

Maybe you hit the curb because you wheel was so badly out of balance. It look like someone left a socket stuck on one of your lug nuts. Did you feel vibration before the crash?

Be careful of who you let work on you car.
