Question Which AMSOIL gear lube should be used?

They offer 2 flavors:

AGR-QT - SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube @ $7.55/Qt. Provides the long-lasting protection, fuel efficiency and dependability needed for top performance, even in extreme-pressure conditions. Stay fluid in cold temperatures for easy cold-weather shifting. Excellent for use in passenger cars and trucks requiring a GL-5 gear lube, including those with limited slip differentials. Racers and truckers use them, and they will work miracles in your manual transmission or differential.

TGR-QT - Series 2000 SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube @ $9.20/Qt. AMSOIL Series 2000 Synthetic 75W-90 Gear Lube delivers unbeatable protection and fuel economy. It has the film strength required to deliver all the protection heavy-duty and high-stress applications need in a fuel-saving viscosity grade. Recommended for use in all passenger vehicles, commercial trucks and race vehicles.

I tried the regular 75-90, and have been happy with it. Swepco is the only thing I have to compare it to, and I think the cold 1-2 shift is smoother with the amsoil. I

The 4.83% guarenteed better fuel economy was the kicker for the 2000 series for me..

Seriously, that was the only version they had at the shop. I was really looking for mobil 1, but that's all they had. I'm happy with it though. I haven't heard of the other version before.
