Lost Locking Wheel Nut Key
Help!! I left the wheel nut lock key on the nut and drove off. The key falls off and is gone forever. What a plonker! The locks were Porsche originals. I don't have the key number. What can I do?? Will Porsche dealer have a master??
Any advice gratefully received.

Lost key replaced. As you said, Porsche had a box of some 30 numbered keys and they have now ordered me a replacement. Cost was £20 or c$30. As I was driving to the dealers I began to wonder what I would do if the locks were not the one's supplied by Porsche(I did'nt originally put them on the car). Imagine my relief when they confirmed they were OEM.
Thanks for your help chaps.

I just bought a used 1997 993S that had locks on them but was never given the key. I did not notice them until I went to put my snow tires on.
I called my local dealership and they said there was no such thing as a master set and they would have to drill off the locks. After a bunch of people on Rennlist posted about the master keys, I called another dealership and they said sure bring it down we have the masters.
I went down and they took off the old locks and I bought a new set of locks and was in and out in about 45 min. Total cost was about $100 including 1/2 labor.
Hope this helps
