Default Tool Kit & Jack

Does anybody know where I might find a tool kit and jack for sale, (in good condition)?

Thanks

I've got a jack in great condition and a tool kit that I think is complete from my track car. Send me an email: tomllama@comcast.net

Tom if dc is not interested I would like to buy the jack. Can't find mine. Noticed your track car is a 964, I have a 993, is it the same.

Simple job I thought, fancy wheel centres - wheels off centre out new one in - 10 mins per wheel.

Not when the only jack I had was the super dooper Porsche alloy one.

40 minutes per front wheel to jack the car and do the simple job. Cant face starting to lift the rear with it.

The jack is stiff to the extreme despite grease and the handle is a joke - just get another before you have a puncture!

Sonny: As far as I can tell they are identical (jacks and tool kits).

I looked at my emails this afternoon and see I have a few about the jack and toolkit. I'll be going through and responding tonight.

TRG has a jack on ebay now, but IMO the OE 993 jack in my car is dangerous. I have an old 944 jack that I keep just in case for road use and a Sears jack for real use at home.

I have a sears at home; I figured I should get one for the car just to be prepared. I'll check it out...

he he, send me a real scissors jack (Pep Boys $25 maybe?) and my 993 jack is all yours. I'd be seriously afraid to use that thing. Did Porsche just assume that anyone who'd buy a 993 would be too lazy/rich/spoiled to actually change a tire at the roadside?

I carry a can of fix-a-flat in my car in case of a flat. I have not ever had to use the stuff but I seem to remember that someone on this board said it worked well enough to get you to a tire repair shop.

Thanks for the offer Eric; the jack sounds like it's junk...what was Porsche thinking?
Anyway, maybe I'll save my money and get a can of fix a flat.

Thanks for the idea Tim.

Default 993 jack

there is a jack for sale from the racers group on e-bay. just go to search and list seller as theracersgroup. kind of funny, i have 964 and it has scissor type jack, the one on ebay must be the oem 993 jack, it looks scary. i figured this out from the way you all discribed it. hope this helps you out .
