Default PSS9 question - european kit without rear spring tops??

Can anyone tell me what the results of not having the rear spring tops on the european (older) Pss9 kit? It is my understanding that the new kits have these and the old ones don't.

Can they be properly installed without them? What do they exactly do, and can a pair be obtained if necessary?

Thanks.

Jim

I think the springs can shift without the spring hats. They may be available from Steve Wiener...

Last I heard, they were available from Bilstein directly for $150.

Jim, if you are really interseted, take a look in the archives. Lots of opinions ( and religion there.. ) Personally, I'd recommend that you get them becuase the cost is not that high but there have not been any rennlist reported failures without them. So it's really up to you.
