AIR / WATER 2024
I was happy that I flew out to SoCal for this one - the Luft crew do such a nice job of curating their events. This was the first Air Water that I've been to and although I wasn't surprised with the massive turn out, quality of cars or overall vibe, it was still refreshing to see all aspects of the brand on display. Always nice to bump into old friends and connect with new ones too.
Here's a selection of pictures that I took - no particular order other than the longhood ST at the top, which was very nicely done.

It was my first time attending it yesterday and I was floored by all the cars, especially the Singers. I'll definitely go back next year with my son. We drove 1000 miles in two days and it was a blast.

Awesome pics. Thanks for posting. Sure makes our events look pedestrian! Couple of things I don't like though. Long lug nut studs and green (other than Viper Green) and pink Porsches.

My only complaint
The back lot felt like any other Cars & Coffee location 🥴 after waking up at 5am and being shoved in the back until 3pm was frustrating. The auction was definitely a nice addition this time around.

There was so much to see there that my small entourage managed to miss at least one building full of great cars but we still bumped into friends making the day that much more special. Luckily some of you who were there posted pictures of most of what we missed. Great shots! I guess Pat's vision (per recent Overcast Podcast where he was a guest leading up to the event) is a recurring annual Porsche Expo for the full range of Porsche vehicles with an auction and lots of non-sponsor vendors combined with some of the Luft vibe with endless displays. Have not yet been to a Luft event which seem to have more visual appeal (to me anyway) because they aren't held at sprawling fairground with big event halls etc but have to say this really had it all with tons of real estate for them to work with. Weather was absolutely perfect. Looking forward to the next Luft event and this one will be hard to resist one year from now.
