Hi Folks. Planning out my 993 build and I'm intending to do a smooth painted interior similar to Singer builds. Has anyone ordered one of the smooth interior kits from Stuttgart Classica or Ollis Custom Parts? If so how was the fitment?

I don’t know how singer implements it, but I imagine with these it will be quite noisy and irritating. I asked Olli how they install it and it’s simply screwed in to the body at various points. I can see vibrations making it incredibly annoying if that’s the case. Maybe singer bonds it directly to the tub?

That was one of my concerns as well. I was thinking dyanmat underneath to replace original insulation and sikaflex or similar to bond it it place and allow for some flexing of the composite.

I was thinking the same. Maybe some expandable foam in couple areas.

for the money and especially dealing with fit, finish and rattles that will drive you nuts for years
find a body shop for a quote on grinding the rough spots on the bare panels, smoothing the rear seat area and repainting.
you will have the wire harness showing so maybe a more industrial type look
but leaving the side panels and rear deck would cover most of the wires.
ask for pics of the rear interior from nothingbutgt3, his was just painted.

I wouldn't use Dynamat. For one, it's super heavy and expensive. Second, any areas which touch against other underlying panels will still buzz.

Jute padding or foam is the right choice here.

Wonder if it comes with the jute already on the back? Not sure how it all fits with the stock foam in place. Maybe that's the thought? Just pull out carpet and bolt this in?
