I am a Master Porsche Mechanic masquerading as an IT freak/Windows 2000 Server expert/author. Ok, I'm not really a Porsche mechanic but that's just because my day job gets in the way.

As a 944 Turbo owner, I was a software engineering manager with a group of 4-12 people (start to finish).

As a 993 owner, I am now a software engineer.

So if there is any correlation, some facet of owning a 911 is bad for your career...

I am a Senior Project Manager for a Development Co. (Engineer in other words) I have approximately 50 employess under me and a volume of approximately $36 million and I am 31 years old.

I on the other hand would rather be a Cart Car driver, but unfortunately I have this boring job. <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />
