Kim - my car is polar silver - i think the all reds will really suit it - did you not think so/ I've recently changed to the clear front and side indicators.

If I'm not mistaken, the all red rear lights and front clear blinkers were part of the ROW AWD models. Here in the US, we all got the red rears and the amber fronts.

All red rears and clear fronts do look really good.

I think over here all red rear and clear fronts were for all the wide body models.

I just switched to amber rears (bought a used pair on eBay ) for my midnight blue '97 targa. They really seem to accent the shape and balance nicely with the amber fronts.

I'd be willing to sell the OEM red rears

Only ROW AWD models got red rear signals. Here's a Carrera S picture from the original press kit that shows amber rear signals:

As usual, Viken is right.
The Euro C4/C4S/TT came with clear turn signals in the front and red tail lights.
The Euro RWD cars (C2/C2S/RS/GT2) came with amber turn signals for the front and rear.

There was only one type of rear tail lights for all the US cars, which was red and different from the red Euro tail lights.
