Bit high on the mileage side (69K) but, although it is being auctioned on EBAY, you can buy it for $34,900. If this car is as it is represented, strikes me as a good deal. I guess you'd have to make sure that servicing is up to date (i.e. 60K service done). I also like the color, aventura green. Very classic.

What I find to be amazing is that 1995 993 C2 coupes are quickly approaching the prices of 87 - 89 Carreras. An 89 911 with 70K on the odometer in very good condition might bring close to 30K.

Yes, I personally believe the '95 C2s represent outstanding value, varioram or now varioram! If I was still in the market, I would be giving this car serious consideration. Assuming the car is exactly as represented, it is probably priced a bit on the low side. That it is a dealer car makes me a bit suspicious. Note the basket hoop, required for Canadian but not U.S. cars I believe. So what's a Canadian car doing in Miami and priced to sell?

I've read on this board that the early (most?) 95 models had the basket-handle brake light.

Nice car!!,

Hey Tangram,

It's possible that the car was shipped here (or driven) by a Canadian. Around wintertime we get a large influx of snowbirds from Ontario, Quebec, etc.

Just a thought!

I agree - if it is as represented, it is a good deal. The basket hoop rear light was standard on US 95s - they changed it in 96. I hear Florida is a state where bad titles can be made good - so maybe that is the issue?? Otherwise, someone is going to get a nice car for a nice price.

I picked up my 95 C2 blue/grey with 55k for $34900. It was a one owner car with all records, CA car, and no paint work The owner even changed the steering when the PPI showed a small leak. If you were to buy this one I would make it on a contigency basis.

I believe that most of the '95s have the "handle" 3rd brake light, but they changed late in the model year to the '96+ style.

It blows me away that so many people (Tangram, not necessarily you) will think that a P-car with less than 10k miles per year is high mileage. Aren't we supposed to drive the cars? I know that for many people, Porsches are a 3rd or weekend car BUT I hope that as enthusiasts we can all work together on NOT calling a car with an average of 10k per year a "HIGH MILEAGE" car.

I had commented on another topic posted here that given the choice I would pay a little more for a '96 vs a '95. In this case, I think a 95 with good history and recent work (60k service) is a great deal at 35k! Name me another car new or used that is better for the money.

I too agree the car looks good but coming from a dealer they obviously got it even cheaper, they also state `all the vehicles they advertise on ebay are from hi-line dealers so the dealer they got it from got it cheaper than they did' so one tends to think there is a story somewhere. Also the interior looks like a light green to me not gray as advertised.

I think a 993 of any vintage with a clean PPI and verifiable heritage is a great car. There are wear and tear items that come up, in my experience, just past the 60K service. New clutch and FW $2500, shocks & suspension upgrade $2600, less if just shocks, maybe A arms $900. See Robin's cost of ownership at p-car.com. KBB and Edmunds have a mileage calculator to adjust value, but sometimes you have to feed a bunch of coins in at once.
