My closed track in malyasia
I have mentioned many times about where I go to stretch the legs of my 993. I ship my car to a closed track in Malyasia. its about 15 minutes by supersonic transport from my house. Today I had to go to Edwards AFB, so I took the TT this pic is where I go to do some runs faster than say 55mph. Behind me is another 20 mile stretch of road that has 10 miles of straight and 10 miles of some twisties. Not as good as a mountain road but much less traveled!
Notice all the traffic. I tried inviting Steve OFE up here but Scott Mellor AKA on Rennlist as "Scott Mellor" said it was too far to drive so they chickened out.

1. Why would there be twisties?
2. I knew that the Earth was flat, but didn't know you can get to its edge by a Porsche.
3. Isn't this the long-term parking area for all the visiting flying soucers?

reminds me of US 50 through Nevada (lonliest highway in america), although you can sometimes see one or two cars there every 30 mins.. id say this has just a little less traffuic.
i cant wait to go back on that road again.

Mike the reason there are twisties is because right where I stand to take that pic is on my right the last of the Sierra moun tians and behind me is a small spine of mountains or hills that come off the sierras and that road behind me runs parallel to those hills and causes the flat twisty roads.
