993 Carrera S on Rstrada "Speedline Inspired" Wheels | TAG Motorsports
A timeless Porsche... Now with an enhancement timeless look! A few weeks ago, we were treated to pristine Porsche 993 Carrera S with barely 10K miles on the odometer. When our client first came to us for ideas for their 993, we immediately suggested a new set of wheels. And not just any new set, we had to go with a "Speedline Inspired" wheel to really compliment this beautiful car. So we went with the Rstrada Tramont CUP II wheels in an 18" setup and finished in Gloss Silver and Polished lips. Classic looks for a classic car!

RStrada? What do they have to do with these wheels other than apparently selling them to you on behalf of your client?
They're Tramont Cup 2's and there's literally thousands of posts about them here for around a decade. Cool pics but I find this ad a bit goofy.

Really nice wheels, thank for sharing! I'm waiting for reasonably priced phone dials that fit my 993. Unfortunately I will probably be waiting until no one knows what a phone with a dial is anymore, probably after my time.

Phone dials on a 993? I'll bet you're the only one waiting...

Maybe so, I had them on my '86 Carrera with winter tires and my 924s. Up close they are very organic in shape with dramatic compound curves in the casting, quite beautiful!
Most folks at the time would upgrade to the Fuchs 16" wheels.

Back to the original car in this thread, is it just me or are these 10" rears on a WB? Those 285/30's look very square/blocky to me (upper sidewall)? Normally on an 11" rear wheel they are pretty stretched (which I like) but these look as blocky as the 245's look up front instead of the typical 225's.
I did zoom in and confirm they are in fact 285/30's and not 295 or wider, which leads me to believe these aren't the typical 11" rears for a WB.

I am far too lazy to dig up those numbers. While there are some lower weight options for wheels, there are few better looking options on a 993 IMHO.

for 285/30 x18 on a 10 the lowest is Sumitomo HTR Z5 on 10s @.853, highest is Yokohama AZD08R @.982
mounting any of them on a wider wheel will lower the ratio.
