Unhappy

now i am even more confused

i have seriously considered the viola metallic before the idea of seal grey. Then i thought a slate grey 993 would look so unique. So now back to square one

I like the "slate gray"... many boxsters and 996's in my area are sporting the seal gray..rarely see slate on any model..

GST,

Color is a truly personnal choice. Since seeing a Slate Grey TT at a dealer a couple of years ago, I have been in love with the color. As Porsche has for many years offered a color to sample choice almost anything goes. The only long range delemma is that it might be harder to sell in the future with an unusual color. If you plan on being the final owner of the car forever that is not a consideration. So it is your choice and as always, the best advice is to get the color that will put the biggest smile on your face everytime you see your 993.

I have a Viola Mettalic 993 and It is a great colour for a 993. When I was at the porsche happening in francorchamps it was the only one and got several compliments about the colour.

It seems that I have to go on and on and on. but my choices are down to 2 now, slate grey or viola metallic.

To 993Manieac

could you post some pics of your slate grey 993 cab before i make up my mind. my mechanic has been after me for decision and i kept postponing it. I might end up driving a car with just prima/filler only at the end of the day if i remain hesitant.

to Jago1244

I still have not been able to open the photos of your slate grey 993.

Sorry to keep going back to this boring topic.

Regards

Personally, I think seal gray looks horrible on any Porsche. But then again I just may be alittle biased.......Naaahhh

Where can I view his TT? I am new and still learning my way around the boards.

If you're going for a colo(u)r change, why not try something really cool and different?
I saw an Audi TT with factory paint that was a shiny medium/battleship grey (with no
matalflake) and looked stunning (the color, I mean). I think a 993 would look spectacular in that color. Of course that's just IMHO etc, etc....
