Speed Vision Porsche Program
this is the coolest historical show I have ever seen 1.5 hrs long
The host just drove a 962 cr road car, it was the most impressive supercar I have ever seen, anybody got info on this? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

There have been a couple of efforts to rpoduce a 962 for the street. Check out

and
<a href="http://www.supercars.net/cars/1994@$Schuppan@$962CRg.html" target="_blank">Schuppan 962</a>
If I recall, it was the Schuppan 962 that was featured in "Victory by Design".

Damn it, I missed another Porsche program on Speed channel? When was it on, what was the name of the program, are they showing it again anytime soon?

Speed Channel has 2 programs hosted by Alain DeCadenet (sp?). They are entitled "Victory by Design". One is on Porsche, the other on Ferrari. They rerun them several times a year.

Yeh that show is one of the better Porsche things that come on... 
Problem is i always need a towel after watching <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />
But they reshow it often. Maybe once every 2 months or so.. Ive seen it on History Channel Before also...

I tuned in just in time to see the Yellowbird Ruf at the closing credits. Smoking the tires at what looks like 100mph. Around a corner. Truly beautiful poetry in motion.

That sure would be nice to have in DVD format.
I have it in VHS but DVD would be great (along with "Le Mans" which will be published soon) for those long Atlantic flights!
