Default Turquoise Blue? Cabriolet

After seeing photos of the TT on Cardomain that Jerry Seinfield apparently bought, became a little obsessed with Turquoise and Riviera blue cars.

Seemed that lots of others liked the colours.

Saw this one on Autotrader, 97 Turquoise blue cabriolet with tan interior at Legendary Motors in Ohio.

Red face

Oh yes, it's my cup of tea. I saw Jerry's Riveria Turbo in Studio City and it was a beauty. So, I got a cab for myself. Porsches should be brightly colored, fun cars. Remember the IROC championship series with all the RSR's brightly painted with those fun bright colors? Most Porsches you see are pretty bland, like silver, black, white and grey. No disrespect to those colors, they are very nice and any Porsche looks good in any color. However, they are quite common. If you want something unique and want a lot of attention, and what Porsche owner doesn't, then Riveria Blue will get you more compliments than you will ever imagine, and I know. Here is a picture of mine.

I have to agree - Riviera is one of my favoured colours for 993. I couldn't find a Riviera car when I was looking for mine but came across a Guards which looks good on a 993 so I bought it.

I had an 81 SC Targa in my driveway yesterday in that color-very nice. Now with clear turn signals on the front corners it would really stand out.

That blue RS was located in Malta and it appeared some time after I bought mine. I suspect I would prefer the Guards in the long run. My anti Guards was based upon seeing a few faded Guards Pink car.

Turquiose blue is 'the' colour to have!

There were only ever six officially brought into the UK, so I have number seven unless someone else has brought one in from abroad

Yo William,
Nice ride old chap. I'll bet you get a lot of comments on the color eh? Is that a fat *** I see there? Love the Euros without the black bumperets. Maybe someday you will get to see the real beauty of the color when and if the sun ever comes out, he he.
Alan Greene (how bout that for a cawinkedink)
Oh and fellas, it's not turqouise. That color has much more green in it. This is most definately blue as in Riviera Blue.

I wonder if that hugely over-priced Riveria Blue TT that was on ebay a couple of times ever sold?

If Seinfeld has one it could be the same one I suppose - the guy who was selling on eay claimed it was the only one in the USA

I think it was the color combo of Riviera and the light grey that made it the only import. Seinfeld has a different combo, black interior I think.
