Post Round 2 - Aluminum gauge face DIY update

This is a follow up of the recent DIY I completed with the NR Automobile aluminum gauge face.

I was not 100% satisfied with the night time results, so I made additional modification to enhance the night time illumination problem.

Plan A - The factory gauge back ground illumination is done by 0.9 watt bulbs, the warning lights uses 1.5 watt bulbs. So the easiest thing to do was to change out all the night time illumination bulb to the 1.5 watt bulbs. It did not make any difference.....

Plan B - To add more light source inside the gauge itself. I only added more lights in the tach and the speedometer. It worked! Although it was a big improvement but it is still not as good as the black face illumination.

I added the details of this modification to the bottom of the original aluminum gauge face installation DIY article.
