Old Guy

Get this -- your acronym reads the same backwards and forwards.

(I have a pal in Dro, ME who pointed that out to me)

In some of the posts above I mentioned some goodies and cool stuff we will be giving away to those in attendance at the Get-Together this Saturday.

I am delighted to say that our little supply of said goodies was increased dramatically today thanks to The Exchange Porsche dealership in Highland Park, IL.

I met today with Shawn Young from Sales, and Bruce Semersky, General Manager of the dealership, both of whom know Rennlist well and agreed to support and encourage our gathering with some free Porsche-related merchandise. Everybody who attends will now get something, and we will have a few really cool items for door prizes or awards.

Bruce and Shawn were both gracious and friendly, and Shawn really went out of his way to help us out. Thanks very much to Shawn and The Exchange!

I am going to post a head count soon, so keep signing up folks! How many chances do you have to meet and travel with your fellow enthusiasts in this kind of setting?? Unbelievably, the weather may even cooperate as the forecast is great. Let's take advantage of this opportunity and get a really good turnout.

PM me with any questions.

Bob, That's great!

BTW, I know Shawn Young and he's a very nice guy. He's one of the coordinators for the PCA-Chicago Region's Autocross events (he happens to be one of their best Autocrossers as well!).

Looking forward to this event!

I'll look forward to joining you at Euroquipe, but I likely won't be able to make the drive down to Starved Rock.

For those of you not yet signed up, last year's event was really nice.

Regards to all.

Like David, I too won't be able to make the Starved Rock run, but will be at Euroquipe.

And I might add, I've been very well served by Bruce over the years. Sean, I'm still pissed at, because he kicks my butt racing around orange cones.

I'm also not sure we'll make the Starved rock run part of it.. but will be at Euroquipe...

Besides, I have to meet a certain White 993 owner there to provide a 3 spoke steering wheel or 2

Default can i drove my car last ?

We'll be outnumbered by 'vettes for sure, bloomington gold is this weekend in st. charles, if you approach from 90 north, randall road may be about as good a cruise as it gets, the slightly windy scenic routes are along the fox river, south on 31 and 25.
I can't wait to put this the really fast GT3 - thanks max airbag into this tip 3 spoke thanks chris with car o the future capability for remote control something or other. And my darling wife gave me a Valentine thats arriving tomorrow!

Mike (Traffic53), thanks for the confirm. and tchanson confirmed via PM attendance at both events. Thanks guys.

Mike in Chi "thanks for the thanks," I am happy to do it.

And I just heard that Jeff ("rsa") from the 964 list will be there in the morning too. As I told Jeff, I was hoping for more 964s to join us, but if we can only have one 964 there, I will happily accept his excellent RSA to represent the breed.

Can you believe the weather is actually going to be great (forecast is 74 and sunny all day)! I'll take it....
