I know it's counter intuitive but yes, based on strength tests I read. But I'm far from metallurgist, so no real clue.
We are not comparing steel fork to aluminum one. What are wheels made from nowdays?
But yea at the same time, in the thread above the alum threads came out, which would indicate the opposite so go figure.
