Default Powder coated wheel results

The question about painting/ powder coating wheels has come up several times. Well I was wanting to do somthing......to me the silver (stock color) was lacking somthing. Anyhooo, I found this place called "Wheels America" their a franchise with locations in many larger US citys. They stripped, powder coated (satin black) polished the rim lip and finished the center caps for $109 per wheel. Turn around time was two days. I'm very happy with the results, a kind'a retro look.....What do ya"ll think?

BTW Not a advert bla, bla.....

I normally don't like painted wheels, but I like that whole retro look you've put together.

I like it !
Works very well with the red and the low (way low ) ride height.
Did they powder coat clear over the polished lip??

I really like the way it looks-just like the 80's Fuchs but much more agressive.
Very nice overall look with the exhausts and lowering.

That is very nicely done. I like it! What do you wax your Guards red with? It looks very shiny.

That looks real nice. The biggest thing for me, though, is the price. $109 per wheel is outstanding! Most wheel places would want a couple hundred per wheel.

Steve,

The wheels look great! Do you have any close up pics of only the wheels? I would like to see how far in the polishing goes. I have been considering doing the exact paint and polish to my wheels. Thanks for sharing.

I wasn't a big fan of black rims on any other car other than Silver but those look great against the Guards Red.

Talking Looking good!

I am going to check with Al Reed at Specialty Polishing in Anaheim to see what he will charge me/us to have my wheels so finished!
