Hey Finn,

I did the conversion tonight and ti took about 10 minutes. But what a pain in the butt the little metal hose clamps are that connects the existing hoses together. You can see 3 of them in your picture. The only way I could figure to goet them off was to actually use my BIG bolt cutters. It looked pretty silly cutting that little piece of metal with the full size cutters, but it worked. Of course you only need to remove the one that connects to the plastic nipple of the reservoir, but it is still a pain. I am sure there is an easy way to do it, but I didn't have the patience. My typical repair job - use an 8 lb. sledge to hammer in a nail.

From your picture, follow the pipe from the reservoir. About half way you will see a short piece of regular hose. About a foot further aft and out of your picture is another piece of that hose that the pipe connects to right before it turns down to the fender. It took a lot of effort, but I just pulled really hard and it came out of that hose. I don't see a reason to plub it so that is what I have done. You cannot see any of that pipe unless you look in my garage trash can.

Seriously, how does that new top attached to the old reservoir? Does it just snap in place or..?

Unscrew the old one and screw in the new one. The wire leads just pull off. Couldn't be easier.
