993 OEM+
Hi Jersey,
See if the current owner has retained any of the take-off parts.
If you plan to drive the car in all weather conditions you may want to consider reinstalling the original air filter box. Also if the original Catalytic Converter was removed see if you can get it as well. Good used ones have become very pricy as a lot of them have been cut up for the valuable catalyst inside them. A new one will set you back thousands. Even if you never plan to reinstall the original parts, the next owner of your car may want them increasing the value of your car.
Here is my page on evaluating a 993 for purchase:

"OEM+" sounds like a marketing term for something that isn't - a K&N filter and a Gemballa exhaust are aftermarket pieces. Some people like Boxster steering wheels, some do not. Some think a turbo tail on a 993 looks unbalanced (esp if it is a NB) or is unoriginal - some folks like it. If these pieces have you questioning the price then they would have others questioning the price as well. That being said - the thing is a car meant to be enjoyed .... do what you want with it and change it as you see fit.
When people talk about adding PSS-10's or an exhaust, it isn't OEM+ to me. Unless that exhaust is the factory Motorsound setup, it's aftermarket.
It would be hard not to love a red/black combo.

The current long term owner advises the sports exhaust are the silencer boxes & tailpipes from Gemballa which retain the original cat.
It’s not noisy but has a distinctive sound & no resonance. This exhaust system was on the car when he bought it.
The turbo spoiler came with the car when he bought it and unfortunately he doesn't have the original type.
The Porsche 3-spoke leather steering wheel came fitted to the car when he bought it and unfortunately he doesn't have the original 4-spoke type.
He has the original air box & new genuine Porsche filter element in Porsche box and these will be included with the car.
The car's in fabulous condition with 23 OPC/Specialist stamps on the book.
So the nub of it is - would the absence of these original Porsche parts, namely, rear deck, 4-spoke steering wheel, exhaust silencer boxes and tail pipes deter future buyers?

Buy the current car/owner -because- you can always mod a well looked after and maintained car back to OEM. Or not.
I think the only item that might give people pause is the turbo wing. My 98 C2S came with a knock off turbo deck lid painted to match the car. The prior owner bought the car this way and it was not sold with the original split grill. He then sourced a stock deck lid and had it painted to match so my car came with both. I didn't think twice about buying the car and I'm sure if you source a stock deck lid, future buyers won't think twice about buying your car if you ever decide to sell it. My car also came with a Billy Boat exhaust system which I hated. I bought Fister 3 mufflers and my car is now perfect in my eyes. As others have said, if the car is otherwise a great example then pull the trigger.
Like I said - Buy the car if YOU want it and don't worry about future owners. That wing- if you do't like it is very salable , but it's a popular add/option too so I think you're either overthinking this or you've got a little buyers anxiety! It looks like a GREAT car and if the mechanics are good- well the options are not an issue. The list you put out had "sport seats" - are these hardbacks? That's $ 10K alone if so- in upgrades if they're factory.

I would buy an Arena Red S (or 4S) with sport seats in SPITE OF those modifications and spend the money to return the car to stock.
Arena Red + Sport Seats = "worth the effort".
Good luck.

I have some difficulty understanding this thread at all for 2 reasons:
1. Parts are OEM or not. Regardless of the quality, there's no such thing as 'OEM+' to me.
2. If the OP is planning to buy a keeper, what's the point of having the original parts when he likes the updates that have been done? In that case, just enjoy your 'keeper' as it is for many years to come.
