I've rarely seen such compelling testimony on the need for lowering one's 993....

Wheels don't hurt either. Nice car Mike, thanks for the pictures.

I was wondering there for a while what you were talking about

There are lot of roads here that takes me to over 50mph, it just goes up and down, up and down. So I just press the bypass switch to leave it in up position. Maybe save some tear and wear Sometimes if I want to give kids entertaiment at stop lights, I just let it work in normal mode, fold down.

Are you going to summit point?

Derrick B,

Thanks. I want to lower it juuussst another half an inch

Thanks John, It's a bummer to leave the car for 6 months! ..and miss al the fun this summer.

When I got my car too, one of the PO kept hitting a truck in front of him where he parks and left 4 -trailer hitch- marks on the front bumper and 2 on the rear. I guess everytime he parks, thats how he tells that he's out of room Had both bumpers re-sprayed. Now insects are pelting the front, and got 2 pebble chips already. I'd like to do the painting myself next time, and hopefully install RS spliters like you have.

Mike,

It looks like your topmost spoiler wall section is missing since I can see your white C-pillar. Maybe it's just the angle...

Mark, good eyes! I didn;t even noticed it. I guess it takes a well trained porsche eyes to spot things like that. I was in the gagrage early this morning and looking at the wing when I noticed what you were talking about. The wall finally gave right where it's crease is, I guess that the spot where it folds. I wonder how much a replacement cost
Thanks for spoting it.

Thanks for those pictures. It sure doesn't matter what year the Porsche...they are all so amazing!

Don't know the cost on fixing the spoiler wall but here is Pelican Parts tech article on doing it yourself.

Great shots Mike, hated to miss it! Was supposed to go up there this weekend until wifie reminded me that it was Mom's day coming up, and of all the times I was gone in previous years while racing...this years would be different! Looks like a great turn out.

Chris, those pix are old. I took them last year. I brought this thread back because the next event is in 2 weekes. 13~15 May. It's free for expectators. and if you want to get in the DE, they still have room. Click the FSR link under my signature, then go to calendar, and they have all the details. But hey, I'll be there just to watch. Driving Friday PM and watch the whole day Saturday.

Jeff, Sory I don't know the year of the RS
