Post Just had to drive it!

Weather has been absolutely diabolical over here for weeks so no real chance of driving the car.Today was sunny but the roads are still covered in a nasty mixture of dirt and salt. But I needed to drive it and now I am going to have to wait for the temperature to get several degrees above freezing before I can clean it properly.

I have to say it was well worth it a sunny day and some country roads make cleaning the car a pleasure!!

So as I have never posted any pics of the car I feel it only right to show you it dirty - in the spring I will show you it with a coat of wax!!

Here are a couple of pictures

Hey Tim, that is a beautiful car! I really like the colour! The oval tips they look so good, I got to get me a set of those! Now close your ears!
That nice spoiler and tips back there would look even better with a nice set of RS rims and a PSS-9 suspension to bring the ride height to a decent level!
I know I'm a bad influence

Thanks Danny you are right about the ride height the next job is to lower the car and I am thinking of getting the bilstein HD shocks and lowering springs off Gert which at 1195 euro's seem a real bargain. I think I will also be springing for a set of RS front spoilers and Turbo S air scoops with positioning lights to clean up the front end.

The colour is aventura green metallic which really looks more grey in the flesh.

Hi Graham.

One of the benefits of having a cr*p digital camera is that it can make a dirty car look clean!!

Very pretty car. I love that color and you don't see many of them.

It was sunny here yesterday, and I was tempted.

But the salt dried and there was so much of it being kicked up by cars, there was actually a white haze in the air over the road.

The cars stayed in the garage.

Gee, I thought "dirty" was for the 1st Rennlist Scandinavian Meet

Thumbs up

I agree with DJ, lower that bad boy. I'll be doing that to mine in a few weeks. I can't stand the wheel gaps either. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
