Default New to Me 1995 C2

New to me 1995 C2 with 29k miles.

I have been on the hunt for a while now and finally found the perfect 993.

Now I need to figure out a few minor upgrades. Wheels, tires, exhaust, maybe different front bumper?

Lets share some pics and ideas.

Awesome. I just bought a 95 C2 with 37K miles on it and I thought I found one with low miles. 29K miles is amazing. Can't wait to experience a classic air-cooled 911 and slowly tweak it to make it perfect for me. Enjoy yours!

Congrats on a great find!

I recently purchased a '96 C2 with 66.000 km's (41,500 miles) after a long search and the process of subtle tweaking has started here as well.

What mods are you planning? OR have you done?

Welcome to the '95 Black-on-Black "Club"! Good looking vehicle (but then I'm prejudiced). May I suggest that you spend some time with your new acquisition before getting carried away with mods? That way, you'll have a basis on which to judge whether they are the improvement in looks or performance that you wanted. I will say that first on my list was FDM's SSK and Golden Rod. You're probably going to want to lower the suspension and there are plenty of opinions here on that. No matter what, enjoy what we call "The Slippery Slope".

My planned mods at this point in no particular order are:

Suspension - Probably PSS10s with new bushings, etc. as needed
Wheels - Always fun to personalize the wheels
Shifter - FD kit with golden rod, etc.
Exhaust - FD either Stage II or Stage III. My GT3T has full Dundon so I might want to just go with the Stage II to have something a little more tame
Body - Maybe Turbo front bumper one day
Engine - SW Chip
Interior - Maybe 996 steering wheel and eventually a bespoke full interior
Audio - Porsche Classic radio and possibly new speakers

I'm sure there will be other things but yes I plan to drive it as is for a while to determine what I really want to do but I enjoy modding my cars to that OEM+ level and trying to improve on what the factory delivered.

Congrats! I got my 96 C2 with 67k miles in September, was 100% stock. So far I’ve added Fister Stage II, RS Engine Mounts, FD Short short kit, FD shifter, Continental head unit, and BBS LMs. PSS10s are on order and should be getting them installed late February. Have been considering the Turbo bumper as well.

I'm always amazed at how these US cars came like a 4x4.

Bumper height regulations at the time I believe, correct? Better that we got them at a raised height versus not getting them at all.

Tell me about it! It’s killing me while I wait for my PSS10s.
