I am hosting a dinner Friday night for Graham's visit over to the states. I will be serving my Prime Rib (guess I can count you in Jauder). If you would like to come over and say hi and have dinner, you are more than welcome. Please let me know if you will be coming so I can get the proper amount of food.....

Seriously though, Bob's roast beef is likely the best roast beef I've ever had. Unfortunately, much as I would like to attend, I'm going to Bay Meadows for some silly company thing. See you guys Saturday.

My son Christopher has a concert on Friday night, so I have to miss this gastronomical event. Now if this is Saturday, then I'm ok, as my wife's birthday party is switched to Sunday. My mom has a wedding to attend on Saturday. (someone else's wedding, you silly) So the latest I'll see you guys is the Saturday BAR drive.

Just another reason that I must move to the left coast. I am really envious of the get togethers, drives, etc., you guys get to experience together.

I took an extended vacation to SF back in '69. Hung around Haight-Ashbury and did all those things that I lecture my kids they must not do...Bought a BMW1600 and drove it back to Chicago and then Memphis. Got stopped by police in most states I passed through partially for speeding and partially for the two long haired freaks that were driving that 'weird' car.

What a great trip. Saw Alvin Lee play in a concert in the park.
Sorry, I got carried away. Guess I was just gave away my age also. 54. Oh well.

Please tell Graham that I said Hello and I hope his trip is a good one. He's a nice guy.

It sounds just teriffic. Many of us who are geographicaly challenged won't be able to make it to the feast. Could you please describe the Mods you'll be making to the roast so we can salivate and feel like we're there as well.

I'll also email you directly. New to Rennlist as I am new to Porsche. Recently purchased a '99 911 C2, black over tan, 6-spd, 36K miles. Frankly, haven't even driven it much yet. However, I already have a TechArt exhaust system and Kinesis rims with WIDE tires to put on it.

Would it be OK if I joined the dinner? I'd like to meet some of the local guys. If so, directions, please.

And what's happening on Saturday? "BAR drive" = Bay Area Rennlist drive? I'd like to invite myself along there, too, if possible.

BTW, I am a Rennlist Member having paid my "dues" yesterday.
