Default Wikipedia World wide 993 production

A different view of all 993 models produced that approximates Porsches data-

"Porsche produced a total of 68,881 vehicles of the Type 993 between 1993 and 1998."

All figures from: Eberhard Kittler: Deutsche Autos seit 1990, vol. 6. Motorbuch Verlag, Stuttgart 2001, ISBN 3-613-02052-1, p. 361.

They're all produced in Germany. Sold outside the USA, assuming they were produced.

Interesting that many more non varioram Carrera 2 were sold vs varioram, considering that non varioram was only available for only the first year?

Could be attributed to release promotion resources that went into the elongated initial launch accounting for such a strong launch after the run of dismal 964 sales at that point in time.

It was THE 911 to have appearing in all car magazines as a major update to the 911....

To "os993", Yes it was on the first year only. However that first year ran for 18 months. US cars arrived and were for sale as of January 1994, a full 8 months before the "official" 1995 model year. Mine is a Feb 1994 car.
Early-early cars are great. They don't have all the stuff that I don't want!

agreed. I’m also an early early car at 150k miles. No regrets.

Be really interesting to see how many of those cars are still registered and on the road
