Wait. Wtf happened to your lower dash? You're missing the whole center section with the ash tray, along with the hard backed carpet section. Wow. PM me. I may be able to help.

I was meaning that, if you're having trouble finding a little carpet, then cover the part that has the yellow contact cement on it with some black leather (like what's covering where the radio would be). But if you're wanting to restore it to like original, then I'd buy the pieces from Talat, even if the carpet doesn't match perfect, because those parts are probably hard to find.

sounds ideal would it cover the hole also will i have any issues fitting the console and carpet as its a thinner piece
surely the thickness wouldn't make any different
could you upload a picture please or email me at jimmy-cakes@outlook.com
Thanks

You might try talking to Earl at Rothsport in Sherwood, Oregon . He's the parts manager there and has helped me with finding oem parts. Not affiliated, but a happy customer.

I'm certain I am not the only one wondering where in hell did the rest of your lower dash go but hey I'm not one for calling anyone out LOL ...
buddy the center section is where the ash tray mounts I do like how the mounting has moved the entire section up a few inches possibly for someone height challenged or the opposite .
the OG components won't fit since they require the stock amount of space where you have about half in the lower three inches of the dash face .
This should be interesting to complete but initially it appears you will require some non cut down lower dash half to get it redone ...Bert
