Ah yes. – ‘Tis Springing out here Mike.. The birdies are chirping, the days are longer, the wind is wafting, the tulips are bursting, the bees are a-buzzing, the black flies are swarming, the mosquitoes are dive-bombing, traffic is stop-and-go on the scenic roads, gas prices are at tourist levels…..

Yep – sure signs that Spring has stricken…..

John,

Is that figure correct? If so, what's the story behind that?

Wow, that's an unbelievable price... unless I missed something, which wouldn't be the first time.

In typical Turtle fashion my shirt was delayed & I couldn't hold the pose any longer.

Here is a shot at Thunderhill. As you can see, my turtle thought the pavement was too hot

I know that we took several large group shots with the HWFM banner on a couple of BAR drives. Does anyone have these or can someone find the posts???

Very cool! I forgot about the banner. Who currently has it?. If somebody will ship it down here, I'll fly it in the garage during Parade week & ship it back when Parade wraps up.

Speaking of Banners, Shirts. Hats etc..... I really need my own hat! Robert and I are fighting over the ONE that he has! Now that I'm back in the saddle of a Cab I could really do need to use one all the time or my hair ends up looking like one big ol' nasty fur ball. When can I buy another one? In fact I'd love to be able to purchse a banner fore the garage. Can you imagine what a converstation item that would be if we placed it on the wall next to the 356's???

Cool pictures guys.... I'm still trying to dig up a few from my past life taken at various tracks around the US and Canada........

... and it's stealthy - I love seeing the intimidated faces of other DE drivers on the warmup laps when my spoiler lifts & they see the HWFM turtle. I know they're intimidated because at great personal risk they hurry past me on cold tires to get a head start. That strategy must work because I rarely see those cars again until after the checkered flag is out ... unless, of course, if I spin.
