Is that figure correct? If so, what's the story behind that?
Wow, that's an unbelievable price... unless I missed something, which wouldn't be the first time.

Sorry about the delayed reply..! I've been struggling with the Rennlist Gallery site all day, along with my paying job - so I just checked in....
Yes - I did buy a '95 993 C4 for $16 - you read it right... Here was my post/thread when I got it home... It's been going through a few "changes" - thanks to many Rennlisters and Sponsors, and tonite, I want to finish up painting some new body parts from Mike at MA Shaw (they are OUTSTANDING! - I can't WAIT!!! )
Here is that thread:

I scanned that a few years ago, and now I really appreciate digital. I have lots of old pictures, but all would have to be scanned. And my home scanner is a steaming pile.
If you look through the cockpit, you can see a decal on the rear window... it was a diagram of Porsche's new 2.2 liter engine they introduced in 1970. Of course the car was running a 2.7 liter engine with 291 dyno HP.

These aren't recent either, but then there isn't much racing going on in Arkansas unless you mean Demolition Derby!!!
Here's one from the ALMS race at PIR in 1999.......
Do you think I was a little tough on the guys. I look like I'm walking another crew member into the trailer for his 'discipline'
And another one taking at the 1/8 mile oval track that is across the street from Road Atlanta. I was just having a little fun with Dale while the guys were busy running around the track bedding in the shocks on our 02 car...
I'm sure you guys will have NO PROBLEMS writing up captions for these pictures...................
