Yes. I would keep the diameters really close to stock on any car, if I could help it. The same applies to 2WD cars as the ABS is programmed for certain rolling circumferences.
Thanks for all the info guys and thanks for the referral John D. - I'll give those guys a call. My car has S-02's in the rear and get this, Yokohama Nexus in the front.
Don't ask, the PO put them on...So, are the S-02's really that bad ? I've only driven the car about 50 miles and couldn't really tell, they seemed ok to me. Maybe the worn out lame ride height suspension is masking the crappy tires Thanks again guys

Of course the S-02's really are that bad. Why else would that tire dealer have "several sets of 90%+ S02s ". After only using up less than ten per cent of the tread, everyone got rid of them.

Bummer man...I'm not questioning you, but can you tell me exactly why they are so bad ? Excessive wear, prone to grenading at high speeds, noisy, bad in the wet ? As long as they don't have some sort of massive failure at speed and are fairly sticky, I'm fine with noise and minor stuff like that...
Well I am participating at my first DE 6/27 at PIR, hopefully.
On another note. What is the whole "can I drove your car" bit about? And this haiku stuff? Something to do with that ghettoracer guy and that year long thread on the other board? Does he go up and down the west coast wrecking cars or somethin'?
Please do. I've always wanted to get bigger tires on all of the cars I've had. I really have no rationalle for it though. I'm not particularly skilled enough to need bigger tires. Looking forward to that DE.
Just checked with a friend at Michelin, and got back from my tire and suspension shop, which checked the specs. In the next 30 days my Pirelli System Assimetricos (a very good tire) will be ready for a change, and I will go with PS2 in

My only valid reason is Phil's are bigger than mine . Seriously, I want to try the PS2, even if it looks strange.
