Mounting Stock buckle to Sparco EVO

Mounting Stock buckle to Sparco EVO
Does anyone know how to mount the stock seatbelt buckle to a Sparco EVO. Does Brey Krause or someone make a bracket of some sort that can attach to the seat or the side mount brackets. I'm using sparco sliders and Brey Krause side mount brackets on my Sparco EVO seat.
Would like to use the stock 3 point belt instead of having to put the 5 point harness on when driving to work.
Thanks,
Mark S.

Mark,
I had my shop fab a section of a sub strap from a 5 pt harness (the part that goes between your legs). They attached the stock buckle, reciever, to the strap and mounted the end of the strap to the rear floor behind the seat. The strap has the clip on end so when I go to the track I will unclip the modified street belt and replace it with my harness belt (also with the clip on the end) I'm sorry I dont have a pic but my digital camera does not want to interface with my PC at this time If you have a 5pt in your car, you should have a mounting point either behind the seat or on the tunnel with a eye bolt this will be your attachmet point. If you cant picture this set up feel free to e mail me off line and I may be able to describe it a little better. By the way, I had the BK belt mounts (now for sale)on my stock seats and there was on way to make them work on the Recaros. Another thing, you will have to take the stock belt reciever assy. apart to get to the metal hole that you will loop the sub belt thru.
Regards,

That sounds like a great idea. Just tried to take the buckle apart. Is there a trick to getting the buckle apart. Tried prying between the two halfs but just managed to mare it up a bit.

Mark,
Dont take the buckle housing apart, take rubber extension that covers the stock strap off there should also be a sensor plug for the seatbelt light ( I think that is what it is for) you should be left with just the buckle head with a metal tab with a hole in it. You will also need the metal adjuster to secure the end of the sub strap that threads thru buckle head.
