Default MY painted calipers

Here are my painted tremendous titanium calipers for all to see. The five spokes make the car look pretty nekked. Do not give me any bling bling crap about the chrome, I am getting used to it!

Getting used to it? Nothing to get used to IMO that chrome is just the right color combo for the paint (that and black wheels are my two favorites with the black paint).

Funny, I think all wheels look better on a 993 than a 996. The turbo twists look out of place on a 996, but I think they look great on my car for the price. Do you have any close up pics of the calipers? Did you paint them yourself? I LOVE those big ovals, too bad I can't put them on my supercups.

Hmmm.....

I'll say it before anyone else....

Come on by tomorrow after the drive to Cambridge - and we'll take that suspension down

Seriously - I like the wheels as well..! It's amazing the perception that 18" wheels make to ride height??

Anyway - NICE job!!! Glad to see the other 3 wheels arrived for ya'!!!

I know...........it looks like it is sitting a little high?? My car has the Bilstein HDs and RoW Sport springs from gert. I am going to have it corner balanced and see if it will go a little lower.

FWIW= If you drive your 993 everyday I would stick with 17 inch wheels. The 18s with my suspension ride pretty rough=I mean it. I drove 300 miles today in New England and I felt every darn crack in the road! My new rims look very cool but chrome 17 inch cups look pretty nice too and ride very well.

Does anybody have any horror stories about 1995 993s without the steering rack brace??
Then maybe I will behave myself tomorrow!!

Red, I never liked the 996 Turbos. But I think they look great on a 993. And not just because I have them on my 993 TT...

Rough ride with a 18"? Probably a bit rough than the 17" but I love the road feel with the 18". I can PRETEND to be in a race car - haha - went on my 1st xcross the other day. If I continue my slow ways, I may need to petition for turtle membership. Oh well, I guess I need to stop reading all those books on racing and just get out there.
