I replaced my Hankook tires with Michelin PS4, the PS4 which seem to have much more tire noise.

I am running 34/38 on a C4S. The tire dates are 2021, so they are not old.

I have seen this complaint with Continental once in a while, but not Michelin.

I wonder a different pressure would change things.

You can check Tire Rack reviews and draw some thoughts. Not sure how impartial they are, but they a lot of info.
I have two cars with Michelin PS and I am very happy with them, other than the longevity.

Your tire psi is perfect at 34 and 38. I have Michelin PS4 tires in the 993 C2 and 997.2 C4S. By far the quietest tire I’ve had on these cars.

I have PS4S that just replaced Continental DWS All seasons, and feel the PS4S are just as quiet. The Contis were old, but low miles from a car stored indoors.

Check to make sure all the outside labels are indeed facing outside. When I first acquired my 88 Cab one wheel had the tire mounted backwards.

Another positive review for Michelins here....have them on all of my cars, including my truck, and love them. Seem to be quieter than anything I have had on before switching over.

I just got Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my 993C4S and after about 300kms of driving, I find them super quiet. I went from Bridgestone RE71Rs, so I guess anything would be quieter haha

It might just be that Hankook, being a very soft tire, was more quiet.

Good advice to check all four tires OUTSIDE is visible. You never know.

Will do - by outside, you mean the typical things like date codes showing.

no. Mich's have a specific mounting direction and its butt obvious. says OUTSIDE somewhere on the tire.

Previous post is correct. OUTSIDE is lettered in sort of a script and easy to find on the side of the tire.
