Does anyone have car magazine reviews of the 993c2 and 993TT from the mid-90s. Im interested in reading what was written about our cars when they were new and I wasn't in p-carland at that time.

I just received from Bookland Books two Porsche books:
"Porsche 911 takes on the competition 1990-1997" and
"Porsche 911 Gold Portofolio 1990-1997",
first one is 911 againt other cars & second 'just' reviews.
Pretty good reading, every review in those years.
If I'm correct, $20 or so per book.

I highly recommend the Brooklands series that Flying Finn referred to; Porsche 911 Gold Portfolio 1990-1997, and Porsche 911 Takes on the Competition 1990-1997 (FF made a typo -- it's "Brooklands," not "Booklands"). These are substantial compilations of road tests from the US, England, Australia and South Africa. They are very comprehensive, although I know there are many articles that are not reprinted in these books. You can get them from Classic Motorbooks, also known as Motorbooks International, at motorbooks.com.

Second (or is that third?) the Porsche 911 Gold Portfolio 1990-1997. Fabulous reference.

Also, Excellence magazine, April 1994, "Technical Overview of the 1995 911 Carrera," by Peter L. Albrecht. Very interesting, somewhat hard to come by information.

Anyone have the review of the TT vs. F-50. It appeared in one of the 3 main magazines (i forget which one) around '97? It was very positive on the 993TT.
