Default Durametric Enthusiast Tool engine operating hours

I cannot recall if the enthusiast version gives access to the 1998 993 engine operating hours, Can anyone chime in with an answer to this? I played with this for about an hour today and finally gave up. It works fine otherwise but no line for engine hours. I have the 6.5/6.6 version. Thanks.

As far as I know, operating hours isn't an option on any Durametric for the 993 or prior. Their website seems to confirm that stating that it's only available on the 996 and 997 generation 911's.

Is it something Durametric doesn't access or does the 993 ECU not log running hours?

It's been over a year, but I think I checked the operating hours on my 1997 C4S with a Durametric Enthusiast tool.

I just ran it again. On my car, it is under Engine Module; Actual Values. I then scrolled to the bottom and found "Operating hours counter."

Very interesting - thanks for sharing. I wonder if all 993's have it or if only cars with the onboard computer have it? Kavocat - does yours have onboard computer?

Kavocat, found it! This '98 has the OBC, perhaps this feature makes logging the operating hours possible. Thanks!

Could it be that it's only possible on OBD2 cars ?

My Durametric reads mine as well and I have the standard gauge package on my 96 993 C4S.
