Yet Another Airbox Question
I was considering the do it yourself conversion of my airbox wherein you drill a set of holes into the side of the airbox. However, upon removing my airbox I noticed that there are already holes (seemingly not unprofessionally drilled) in the airbox where I was planning on drilling. Is this the way all the non-motorsport airboxes look before you drill them (I.E. you make the holes larger) or is there already a motorsport airbox on my car?
Thanks
Thanks

Yep, that's the lid, errr, side of my airbox, chrome piece and all. I guess I do have the motorsport box. I don't recall seeing that when I checked my option badge, guess the previous owner added that. Thanks for the prompt replies. Note to self - it's time to get a digital camera.

Yeah, I won't bother drilling anything now that I know I already have what I was trying to simulate. I did go out and take another look at my option sticker to see if it was on there. I cross-referenced it with the option list on p-car and figured out every designation except for "233", which is not on the p-car list. Does anyone know what the code stands for?

Brent,
There had been some extensive discussion on the option code 233 in the past.
I think we all concluded that it is a standard option that came on all the US bond 993s that was not standard in the ROW cars. So it could be anything.
