Gearbox and feel of gear changes
My car is a 1995 993 with 59k miles.
When I change up to third, the slot from neutral up to third is not "smooth" - it seems to rub against something - this is only a feeling through the gearstick, no noise. The same thing does not happen in any other gear - only on the change to third.
Is this normal or is there something wrong. Its not a problem to carry on but wanted to check if other people have had the same thing happen.
The car has been doing this with no change in the feel for two years (circa 12k miles) - ever since i've had the car.
I may try getting the oil changed at the next service.
