Poor throttle response???
I just installed a used pair of B&B mufflers on my 36000 mile 95 C4 They sound great to my ears, i can even live with the resonance from 2300-2800 rpm.
My problem is the engine revs off of idle with a flat spot!! Is this normal with aftermarket mufflers? Is it due to more or less back pressure? Will the engine mgt system eventually bring back the snappy throttle response?

Phil,
I had the B&Bs, no problem with the flat spot...I just didn't like them. As you know I replaced them with Robin Sun's RSR mufflers...now these mufflers I love. Ever love a muffler? It is really wierd.
THe RSR mufflers are the best and the sound gets better with age, and they do not resonate
