LEDA suspension is definitely worth a check. I just installed on mine 3 days ago. Fantastic stuff and priced between PSS9s and other fixed shocks

24 way adjustability (no need to get on your back to do this), progressive rate damping, custom hand built to your specified spring rates.

944 guys use it quite a bit I hear but so far kinda unknown amongst 911 crowd.

This is really the way to go for your application. I am really happy with the ride height the ROW M030 springs give, especially for street driving.

Just the info I was looking for guys, thanks very much...

Keith - yeah, factory stuff does mean a bit to me, especially when so many others think so highly of the M030. I know that's what Porsche would have put on the cars had ride height not been an issue in the US. The M030 setup with the Bilsteins from Gert are the ones with the extra threading so I should be all set there (thanks Edward) - I'll make sure to specify though, thanks for the tip(s) guys.

Steve - Last time I looked, the PSS9's were going up in price to around $3000. Now I may not be exactly right, but I really don't care about a couple hundred here or there when spending that kind of $ bacause $2000 is already more than I want to spend to begin with. What I do care about it value. I really don't see how the PSS9's are 1K bucks better than M030/HD's. In competent hands, someone with the M030 setup will be able to keep up all day long with an identical car w/PSS9's. Hey, I'd love to have the bling factor as well, but I can spend that extra $1000 somewhere else that will make me much happier - just my .02. Also, I'll be doing the install and my buddy will do the alignment for free.

Another RoW M030 believer for the last 30K miles. Wish I had gone this route sooner.

I may not have the right answer for you but PSS-9s can be had any day of the week on Ebay, NIB for $2250 and there are usually some on the PCA site for less than that. If you want something else great, but don't discount PSS-9s by assuming an unrealistic street figure.

I just went thru this (in the last 30 days). Go with what Viken says. I would guess you are also adding the M030 ROW sways.
There is not much $ difference between HD and PSS9s UNTIL you add the RS sways. I went with the HDs but looked at PSS9s and thought I should go all the way including RS sways if I went that route. That's when it gets very expensive.
I would recommend you go with M030 sways with HD/M030 springs.

Joe - I appreciate the heads up. If you are referring to this seller on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

He's totally unreliable and many here have warned not to do business with him. Seems he sells things he does not have. Do a search for "eurotoyz"...

Thanks Howie, 'preciate the added info re: RS sways. And yes, the kit Gert sells comes with the M030 sways for approx. $1900.

Thanks again guys

Howie is spot on about the sway bars. I was dying to do the TRG bars (excellent bars at about 1/2 the price of the RS bars), but Mr. Cheapskate decided to wait a while, since they can be added at any time. Meanwhile my TT has the heavier euro rear sway bar, and that will have to do unless I get track-crazy. Viperbob had a very good price on the PSS-9s, but that was in December. I've heard that the PSS-9s set on their softest setting is fairly close to the ride of the HDs and ROW springs. So, if the price difference is small, then the fact that you *can* adjust them for track duty is virturally a freebie. Viperbob may still have a few sets at that old price...

Oh... better check with Gert to see if the Bilsteins that he sells comes with a USA warranty. I've heard that they don't.

Well this is interesting...I just called the Eurotoyz guy on the auction I posted above. Thought I'd at least pick his brain and see if he actually HAS the PSS9's, plus I'm only about and hour from him...Well, he says he has 2 sets left and I can go pick them up...For $2250. I only said what I did about this guy cause of what others have posted about him...What do you guys think ??

Argo -

You and I have had our differences of opinions in the past, so take this for what it's worth - and intended in good faith. From what I've seen on his feedback, and the fact he made good on the bumper for a fellow rennlister, he's probably legit.

I do know that Steve Weiner had a couple of sets for sale as well. If you want the setup, do the PSS9's, or talk to Viperbob about the JIC/Cross's.

Well I got a bit ahead of myself...DER, didn't realize if you change to the PSS9's, sways have to be upgraded as well....(thx Howie). Guess I have to settle for the M030/HD's.

Kim - I guess the idea is that if you're upgrading to PSS9's, the sways need to be upgraded as well, if you want it done "right". I'm sure you don't HAVE TO, but it's probably better to do so. I guess the reasoning is that the PSS9's work much better when the car is exhibiting less body roll.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

They don't. I've got PSS9s and M030 swaybars (or if you have the regular sways, same fit). Are you sure this is what he meant? And you can swap bars ANYTIME you like after the installation. Hint: look for the M030 (22mm/21mm) sways used

Exactly! I have a set of PSS9s waiting to be installed later, but for now, I got a used set of m030 sways (22f/20r) and have just installed the rear for now.

You can do the sways at anytime and with the PSS9s you can use a variety of sways from stock, m030, euro turbo, TRGs and the RS just by changing the ride height, if you so desire down the road, as they say.

I went with the PSS9s for it's versatility, matched spring/damper and adjustabilty.(both height and valving)

What you do is entirely up to you, just don't short change your decision because you think you need to do it all at once. Part of the fun, for me at least, is doing the changes in incremental steps to see how something improves the car or not.

good luck w/ your decision. the thing is, you're considering all very solid choices you really can't go wrong with what you ultimately choose.
