P.S. why do you own 2ea LC200, other than you can and they’ve gone crazy in price for the newest ones…

Looked at a 2020 white Heritage over a year ago. Dealer couldn’t sell, but ended up with Macan S, then the Cayenne S.
That then $92k truck is likely over $120k now….

I have 4 Porsches a sedan, an SUV and a pickup truck and a Motorhome. Between 2 people in the household. My wife is quite understanding and probably knows this list will grow at some point. At least until I retire and decide I must become fiscally responsible. LOL

Bought a very nice used 2015 back in 2018 and got hooked. Had semi-regrets of not buying new. When I learned Toyota is killing LC in the U.S. (even if it didn't I would not want the turbo V6), I thought I will "stock up". Bought brand new 2-row Heritage in silver (apparently one of 100) in Jan 2021 for $82k (eighty two). And I was kicking myself because only 6 months earlier a new 2020 Heritage was available for $80k. Haha, how stupid. In few months I went from "I overpaid $2k to I saved $20k+". Like 5 months later I was offered $110k for it. Nope, not selling.

I will build the 2021 as the face-lifted 200 has nicer/better armor options (front bullbar in particular). Plus the 8-speed gearbox is better offroad due to super short 1st. Originally I wasn't sure if I am going to keep the 2015, but I am keeping it for normal highway/light offroad duty. I like the 6-speed better on highway.

Between these two 200 I think I am set in truck/SUV department for the rest of my driving life

Are you on mud?

I've seen this too often on here and mud. I've got 2 aircooled 911s and a LC200. Small world.

Yes on Mud. LR LC200. Everything you see is done in my driveway. Only thing I didn’t mess with was regearing the reardiff on 40.

👍🇩🇪 Took her for a drive in the 993 C4 on Sat. She kinda gets it. I’m 6’ 180, she’s 5.9’, thin and top heavy. She gets in and says “It’s wee, like a Fred Flintstone car.”

Hoping TOTD will get her more on board. Doing our third in June….

I hear ya man! My wife knows the drill…. I have 3 cars, truck and SUV….… although, I recently added a 5sp Alpine White / Blk interior 87’ 944 Turbo 35k miles from the original owner. It needed some additional maintenance on top of the $5k worth recently from the previous owner. Now in for full glass out repaint, wheels refinished, new badges, emblems, Lindsey Racing 400hp power kit and tons of other slippery slope stuff. My 993 is all modded out time to channel my energy.

What color interior? Are those authentic Speedline 3.6's or RH (either is fine in my book, just curious).
Think I covered down on these questions earlier, but what mods!?!? Out of the gate I’m thinking Fister short shifter and chip (****)?

Night and day difference… go from “rowing a boat” to race car shifts.

So should presume you have the Fister stick. Many have said RS shifter is the way to go, but honestly, don’t dig the look of it…

where and what is the situation? If you can financially be sound, enjoy life and cars, and keep the family with a roof overhead, seems like 👍 solid Situation in life 😉

IMO there is no such thing as too many cars - but there is such a thing as too little garage/parking. We are by no means at the level of some people on here who have serious collections but I have 5 sports cars going on 6 and then we have two others for my wife and nanny and we only have 4 car garage parking so it's getting a bit tight...

The area we live in sucks for garages for some reason. 4+ car garage was pretty much the only requirement I had in house shopping and was quite limiting (at a rather high price point IMO).

When my wife says cars cars cars …I retort with horse horse horse
cars are way less expensive to maintain than the horses
