993 cuts out! and i hear a CLUNK!
On two occasions my pride and joy has cut out while driving! All the lights on my dash come on...I pull over turn the ignition and she acts like nothing happened! I can't understand this! I have had the wiring harness replaced here at porsche!
Issue number 2 : on pulling away at the traffic lights i hear a CLUNK under the car!!! could it be my clutch, the syncromesh, the transmission?? Help I'm worried it could be something serious!

Yup, that happened to me too. The relay would fail when it got warm and cutout in the same manner. I don't recall that it was very expensive and haven't had any problems since then.

relays are around $20
Clunk might be from a throw out bearing? however I don't think the two are connected... Unless it was something to do with a sensor near the flywheel or something like that..
