Default audio system

The stock cdr210 with stock speakers sound terrible, What is a good upgrade that isn't to expensive?

There in not good solution for cheap and good. General minimum advice is to add 3.-rd manufacturers amp (Pioneer, Alpine, etc...) and good speakers to original locations.

What's your budget? Are you planning to do the installation yourself?

I would be willing to spend $1000.00 I dont really listen to music much mostly talk radio but the sound quality while playing music is terrible.

Rob,

IMO, your best bet with $1,000 would be to upgrade the door speakers (you might consider Focal). The rear deck "fill" speakers are much less important. You should have enough money left for a decent amp to replace the factory Nokia unit under the passenger seat (e.g. $400-500 for the speakers, same for the amp).
