Rod is a class act, and is a selected few (it seems) that knows quality and customer service, even for fanatics like us.

Carlos,

The only answer I know is that you can reach Rod at his shop: http://www.caraudioinnovations.com/

His phone number is on the site and just ask for him. He has spent some time with me on the phone over the years and has helped me out a bunch. He is a great guy.

Anir,

Do you have any pictures of the modifications made to the rear speakers?

I bought the Focals from Rod to do the rears, since I had the rear deck out of my car for recovering... But, I can't figure out how to get them mounted into the plastic mounts of the original hi-fi rear speakers. The guys at Rod's shop have spoken to me on several occasions, but a picture in this case may very well be worth a thousand words!

If you don't want to post the pics... you can email them to me at mstockdale@sc.rr.com.

Thanks! And, good luck with your p-car!

Michael,

Unfortunately, I do not. All of my pics are included in the original post, which is about a year-and-a-half old (back from the dead).

Where is it located? I don't see it on the faceplate.

        Thanks,

Anir, could you tell me how Rod attached the new tweeter & the cross over to the door panel?

        Thanks

Rod is indeed a class act. He did a job for me on our '85 Carrera on his last trip through SoCal, as he was getting ready to open his store in Sacramento.

I knew him when he had hair!

I too had Rod apply his skills to my `87 Cab back in January of 2000... he has been around this forum for a long time and is indeed a class act.

        Anir,

What have you done with the nokia door enclosures and amp? Are you interested in selling them as I'm returning my 4S to stock.

I'll take them off your hands if you want to sell them.

        regards

        Anir,
Congrats on the system!! I also bought a system with rear footwell speaker enclosures and all from Rod and had a local friend/stereo expert install it with Rod on the phone. We had him on speakerphone collectively for about four hours and he never complained once. Great guy!!

I need to meet you sooner or later as I only live a few hours away in Nashville! I seem to remember you are friends with Greg Fishman. I guess you're not racing anymore. Is Greg still going at it?

Let me know if you ever come to Nashville, I would love to meet. I have been following your adventures with your TT for a long time, and I finally traded up from my 1996 C2 cabriolet last February to my 1996 TT. I love it and would love to mingle with other TT owners as there are few of us in Nashville. E-mail me if you ever come this way.
