Default Escort Gt2 question

My wife gave me an escort gt2 G meter for Christmas and I have installed in my 993(there is the 993 content). The manual says that g forces will be high in tight radius corners than larger radius corners, which comports with my seat of the pants impressions over the years. My question is why is this so? I can see why that would be the case on a high speed sweeper as a result of aerodynamic lift, but why would there be a reduction in Gs from, say, a 100 ft radius turn, to a 200ft turn and a 300ft turn? Physics majors, please educate me.

Probably they mean this for the type of speed generated at tight turns versus long sweepers will be less, therefore it will show more g's on tight turns, than in long sweepers, so for achieving the same g's on long sweeper you will need much more speed.,cheers,Sonny.

Centrifugal forces are inversely proportional to the radius 'R' of the bend, thus as R increases, the forces decrease (or vice versa) IF you take these corners at the same speed.
On the other hand, you will indeed most probably go slower through corners with smaller radiuses. As the centrifugal forces are proportional to the square the speed 'v', the forces decrease with the speed.

In conclusion, the forces in a corner are proportional to v*v/R...

Hope this makes sense.
