Wow Boris, you're a fastidious guy! The different lenths the tips stuck out bothered me for about a day. I then promptly forgot about them as one doesn't really notice unless one is looking for it ...on the OE tips, anyway. But I love your resourcefulness. Pics when you can, please!

I had mine installed yesterday and must have been lucky as each side stick's out exactly the same to the mm, and the mufflers are well away from the tires (17").

Boris, Great question.

I replaced my Tips and noticed that one was .25" difference. I guess I can let it go now.
