Calling all cab owners, need input!
Hi All,
A little while back I posted asking for info on where to find aerokits, etc. I have now found so many options, both oem and after-market, that I am totally confused and close to brain death.
I want to put an aerokit on my '97 cab and would appreciate your input on suggesting which rear wings look best on a cabriolet. I am pretty sure that I like the RS front splitters, but the rear wing has me stumped. HELP!!
Any pictures or links to some would help me immensely. I looked at the gallery until my eyes hurt, but only found one or two cabs with aerokits.
Thanks

Here are some picture of mine with a Techart aero kit, which the previous owner installed. I like the splitters up front, but I think if I had the choice I would go with the RS or the turbo tail.

personally i like the side skirts and splitters of the RS, but i do NOT like the look of a rear wing on the cab. It just seems to date the car more than anyhting...

I personally like the most "naked" look of a 993 cab: no skirts, no wings and especially no splitters. It's such a simple and complete look that I don't want any angular sharp lines to stick out of it at all.
I understand the need for these pieces for high speed stability on the track, but my street and autocross cars will be as simple as they came out of the box (and sometimes even simpler with some tupperware removed for weight saving).

yep. i'm into the 'rs' look too. the rear spoiler is up in the air for me though (i dunno) saw a blk cab w/ the rear 'rs' wing that looked great, top was up though. regardless, the car does need to be @ 'row' height to really show it's best... not to mention handle best...
Neil,
I've got more photos (front, rear, quarter angles, detail shots, etc.) and will be glad to email them directly to you if you can accomodate large files (they'are all about 1MB each).
Cheers,
Rick
