Beautiful, simple, and no more dealing with those damn shims. Top notch work as always, Andreas!

Is there any downside to the clewett in a TT application, besides the low charge potential?

and my takeaway from the above is to hit qty of 2 for the fan i just ordered. perhaps the better half is right, I am slowly building another car in the garage attic.

I would reach out to Richard Clewett directly regarding your 993 TT question - he was immensely helpful in the past and always responded promptly.
I installed the setup on my '95 maybe 6 years ago. Absolutely no charging issues. Yes, during warm idle you'll see a bit lower output (I have a voltage gauge wired directly to the battery), but that's while idling. The moment you drive off, the engine is no longer idling....

Lastly, I've now installed seven Clewett serpentine belt kits for fellow 993 owners. All seem very pleased with the utter simplicity & fantastic build quality of the pieces.

would love a RSD…proper rear shelf etc. Really like RS splitters also…I’ve had a repo GT2 wing hanging in the shed since 2012 anyway(thanks to the help of Opo). Narrow body nose on hand also, cheap…picked up in Buffalo, on the return trip from Cleveland with my first Cayenne GTS 6MT. Done for now with 993 improvements, off to the Ogar’s tomorrow to p/u the car.

Anyone within an hour of AOW should crash the “party” tomorrow night. Ideally we will be standing in the garage, drinking beer, interacting like adolescent children, and looking at Porsche’s

There will probably be snacks

I dont see any difference after I installed the RS hub which basically does the same thing and slows the alternator down too

Received my fan for the turbo today, i know how we all like a good mystery, so here we go.. it has no less than 3 parts #s on or around it. the first is 964 106 113 22 on the outer box flap with shipping info and 23.07.2019 datum on part label. 964 106 015 22 on the inner box flap with 18.09.2019 date on part label and finally on the fan it self is 930.106.113.7R right above the triangle on the outside face of the fan. What is the difference between the NA and turbo fans again?

Here is a regular 964/993 fan that I recently stripped. Part number: 964.106.113.2R with a 1996 date code:

The current 964/993 part number is: 964.106.015.31.

This is a 993 turbo fan - different size & design:

Andreas, thanks for the response. so its # of blades as well as having a different pitch to them, interesting.

Are you painting or coating the fan you just stripped?
