It seems to be either #2, or number #3. I read some of the archives, and already tried the "cowboy method" to see if I could get it unstuck. The motor makes sound, so I'm 'gonna check out the seat shaft when I get a minute. I'm not much of a DIY'er (yet)-- maybe this can be my first attempt..

Actually, to tell you the truth, I get a real kick out of seing my wife drive the 993 cab, (it's a real turn-on). This post is a classic... I share all of your feelings! The 993 is a mind-blowing beauty! My brother-in-law just got a band new 996 c4 cab.. sweet auto, but it's got nothing on looks compared to the 993. Sorta like my heritage softail calssic... i can just stand in the garage and stare at them for hours!.. By the way, this message board is awesome.. I am going to join rennlist right now.!
